EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) more commonly known as tapping.

People often ask, What is EFT? So, let's tackle the basics. EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique but is more commonly known as 'tapping.'

EFT is a touch and talk therapy that helps people release unprocessed emotions which can help reduce and release emotional blocks, limiting beliefs, phobias and cravings.

How does EFT Work?

EFT works on a 1-1 basis where your trained practitioner guides you through the session helping you work through whatever issue you are facing. My sessions are held via Zoom so we can work face to face no matter where you are in the world.

I will start by talking with you about the issue you want to deal with and ask a series of questions, all of which will help us hone in on the root cause of the issue.

Once we have enough information I will guide you through the first of the tapping rounds.

You do not need to have any previous knowledge or experience with tapping as I will be there guiding you through each step. The beauty of EFT is even if you tap in the 'wrong' place it still works.

How do you tap?

Tapping is quite literal as EFT works by using your fore and middle finger to gently tapon a series of points on your face, upper body and fingertips.

These points correspond with energy points known as meridians in the body. When tapping on these points they can release the energy / emotions connected to the issue we are working on.

How do you know it's working?

As we tap you will experience energy releases, these happen in many forms. It can include yawning, crying, hiccuping, laughing and burping.

As we move through a session we also rate the intensity of the feeling this is know as SUDs (Subjective Units of Distress). We check in on this rating before each new round of tapping and you will see that these numbers will decrease.

You are also likely to notice the sensations in your body we are feeling into as we work on each issue lessen and change.
